Details of the NMBS All-Industry Conference for 2020 have been announced, with delegates set to head to the beautiful town of Sorrento on Italy’s stunning Amalfi Coast.
Between 18th and 21st June 2020, merchants and suppliers from across the sector will come together to enjoy four days of networking, relationship building and a fascinating business conference programme.
The All-Industry Conference is dedicated to the building, plumbing, heating, hardware and timber sectors, giving merchants and suppliers alike the chance to take time out from their day-to-day work to hear from expert speakers on a wide range of topical subjects. They can then take what they learn back to the UK, newly-inspired and ready to implement new ideas in their own businesses.
As in previous years, the emphasis will be firmly on a business conference. With the theme ‘2020 Vision’, the conference will cover issues affecting the entire industry, including:
- Technology
- People
- Productivity
- E Trading
The programme will also keep plenty of time to allow delegates to socialise with their peers, network during evening dinners and enjoy the scenery in one of the most beautiful parts of the world.
A sophisticated seaside town at the heart of the Neapolitan Riviera, Sorrento offers the very best of Italian culture. With cobbled streets and picture-perfect views of Mount Vesuvius and Naples, Sorrento is said to have it all, offering designer boutiques, lively bars and authentic Italian restaurants. The beautiful towns of Positano and Amalfi are within easy reach for anyone who wants to explore the area further.
Away from the conference sessions, delegates can explore the Piazzo Tasso – a ‘picture-perfect’ square lined with grand old buildings and bustling cafés. Sorrento’s picturesque old town has museums, galleries and leafy parks round every corner, while a quick hop on the town’s wooden train makes it easy for delegates to travel from sight to sight.
The Conference will be held at the stylish Hilton Sorrento Palace Hotel, which offers fantastic views of the sea, the hotel’s citrus gardens and the mountains. Rooms and suites at the Hilton Sorrento Palace combine Mediterranean warmth with modern elegance and luxury, and guests can also make the most of the on-site pools and cocktail bars.
Sam Hunt, NMBS Events Manager, said: “We’re delighted to be returning to Italy for the 2020 All-Industry Conference. Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast will make a stunning backdrop to the Conference, and delegates can be assured of a business programme that will encourage knowledge sharing and innovation across the merchant industry.”
More information for booking for the event will be released in due course.
