Owlett-Jaton boosts merchant support with trio of merchandising appointments

Owlett-Jaton has announced the further expansion of its service offering with the appointment of three new merchandising representatives.

This strategic growth increases the wholesale supplier of fasteners and fixings’ nationwide merchandising team to five, with two additional representatives set to join later this year. The newly appointed team members all bring valuable experience and regional insight into their roles.

The Northeast, Yorkshire, and Scotland will be covered by Christan Gibbon. Although new to the industry, Christan brings fresh enthusiasm and is eager to connect with customers and is looking to deliver a complete, service-driven experience.

Sean Teeling will be responsible for the Northern Home Counties, the West Midlands, and East Anglia. With prior experience as an Engagement Executive for merchants, Sean brings a strong network of industry contacts and is looking forward to strengthening relationships and building new ones.

Managing accounts in Staffordshire, North Wales, and Mid Wales is Henry Barber. With a background in sales and a sharp eye for detail, Henry is well-equipped to deliver high-impact merchandising solutions and looks forward to creating stand-out displays that meet customer needs.

Set to play a key role in supporting builders’ merchants nationwide, their responsibilities include assessing store layouts, configuring and installing merchandised stands and ensuring effective product placement. In addition, they will provide ongoing after-sales support through regular customer visits, re-stocking assistance, and maintaining a high standard of display presentation.

The supplier states that this investment underlines its continued commitment to delivering high-quality, hands-on support to its customers nationwide. In this vein, the business has also announced the launch of three catalogues into the market: the JCP Catalogue 2025, the JRP Catalogue 2025, and a brand-new Builders’ Merchant Catalogue.

Available in print and digital formats, each catalogue is tailored to its audience and aims to deliver one of the most comprehensive and user-friendly product resources in its category.

The JCP Catalogue, for example, has undergone significant updates to improve usability whilst the JRP Catalogue now spans 164 pages as the dedicated riveting range has gone from strength to strength since its launch in 2020.

Rounding out the trio is the all-new Builders’ Merchant Catalogue, developed exclusively for the merchant market. Featuring over 80 pages of products from leading brands, the catalogue includes a wide range of packaging options and sizes, making it easier for customers to find solutions that meet their specific needs.
