
Celebrating excellence in the plumbing, heating and bathroom industry, PHG Plumbing Heating Group held its Annual Supplier Awards at Carden Park Hotel in Chester at the end of May 2025.
A total of 259 guests from the sector attended the event, including 196 supplier representatives joined by 63 PHG representatives. The event is one of the largest independent gatherings of plumbing, heating & bathroom suppliers and independent merchants in the industry, with PHG now having 13 members operating out of 276 branches in the UK.
Compered by by Paul Martin – Magical Host, the Awards ceremony itself was the culmination of an action-packed day of networking, featuring golfing and outdoor team building activities including Zip Lining, Powerturn Buggy Slalom and “the ever popular Duck Herding!”
The PHG Supplier Awards category winners were:
Instinct Plumbing & Heating Supplier of the Year: Ideal Heating (nominees Intatec, Scalemaster and Vogue)
Instinct Bathroom Supplier of the Year: Roper Rhodes (nominees Aqualla, Highlife Bathrooms, Imex and Roman)
Bathroom Supplier of the Year (under £1m): Highlife Bathrooms (nominees Flova, Imex and Roman)
Bathroom Supplier of the Year (over £1m): Ideal Standard (nominees Fibo, Grant Westfield, Hansgrohe, Merlyn and Roper Rhodes)
Heating Supplier of the Year (under £1m): Wilo (nominees Scalemaster, Strom and Vogue)
Heating Supplier of the Year (over £1m): Ideal Heating (nominees Fernox, Hyco and Stelrad)
Plumbing Supplier of the Year (under £700k): FM Products (nominees Arctic Hayes, Monument Tools, Sika Everbuild and Wirquin)
Plumbing Supplier of the Year (over £700k): Viva Sanitary (nominees Altecnic, RWC)
In addition, Ideal Heating won Overall Supplier of the Year with David Bainbridge awarded Most Engaged Supplier Team Member and Roper Rhodes taking home the prestigious Outstanding Achievement Award.

To conclude the evening, Comedian, Ventriloquist and Winner of 2015 ‘America’s Got Talent’, Paul Zerdin entertained the audience whilst PHG raised £4,200 for Air Ambulances UK after hosting a charity raffle at the event.
