Following the announcement on 15th October 2018 regarding the acquisition of Ridgeons by Huws Gray, PHG has released a brief statement which confirms the termination of the firm’s membership of the Group on 31st December 2018.
The statement outlined that all Ridgeons purchases within PHG “will therefore cease on 31st December 2018 except for Instinct products, which under PHG rules extends the right to continue to purchase and sell the Instinct range until 30th June 2019.”
PHG describes itself as a specialist plumbing, heating and bathroom buying group and is led by some of the most well-known and respected names in the independent merchant sector. Ridgeons was a founder member of PHG and the Group commented that it had “always actively supported the agreements and contributed positively to the organisation, for which we thank them.
“PHG wishes Ridgeons well with the integration into the Huws Gray business and further success under its new ownership.”
