Plumb Centre says its new PlumbPro membership scheme has been “built and developed from customer and industry research to deliver benefits and perks” specifically tailored to the requirements of installers within the plumbing and heating industry.
Developed in-house by Wolseley Group Strategy and Delivery Director Emma Conroy with a digital platform supported by Marketing Lounge Partnership, a specialist martech and loyalty service provider, PlumbPro has been designed “using a digital-first focus, ensuring customer experience and accessibility to rewards and benefits are super easy and all manageable from a mobile device.”
The benefits of the scheme focus on four key areas, which the merchant says are all designed to make life easier for installers:
Pro Cashback– Cashback of up to 3%, designed to give back to customers every time they spend and promotional cashback offering fixed value cashback, to top up with.
Pro Training– A new hub packed full of information and the latest guidance focused on supporting customers through the renewables transition, along with member-only discounts on selected courses.
Pro Assist– Expert advice in real time via the Plumb Centre App live chat function, emergency tool loan service to keep businesses running, should they be a victim of tool theft and a free annual Class 4 MOT for the van.
Pro Perks– A free Greggs breakfast every month, free next-day delivery for emergency parts orders, as well as regular prize draws and monthly freebies.
Kieran Griffin, Divisional Managing Director for Plumb Centre, said: “Plumb Centre has a great reputation for our experience, personal service, product availability and more recently the launch of our fair prices initiative that has built further confidence with customers, we’ve listened to what installers really want from a membership initiative and believe we have delivered on just that.
“We’re excited to bring this scheme to market, and invite all installers to sign up to PlumbPro and work with us to build their businesses together.”
Simon Jamieson, Managing Director of The Marketing Lounge Partnership, added: “We’re really proud of PlumbPro and feel that this is a ground-breaking scheme in the sector. Many other installer programmes are dated and don’t offer the customer much value back.
“We’ve made the user experience really easy and simple to use. We know that plumbers and installers are busy and use their mobile to run their business, so it was essential we made the site mobile first with instant access to their reward balance and perks.”
Trading under brand names including Plumb Centre, Pipe Centre, Climate Centre, William Wilson, Jointing Tech, Burdens, and Fusion Utilities, Wolseley has around 650 branches nationally in addition to three centres of excellence in the utilities space, support centres in Warwick and Ripon, and four distribution centres.
