Procuring plumbing, heating and drainage products in one go will now be made easier for the trade as Plumb and Parts Center embraces fellow Wolseley UK brand Drain Center.
Following customer feedback from across the branch network, the business has brought the brands together so that customers can purchase products from a single site.
The integration has resulted in a number of simple internal changes that enable the brands to trade together and as one team, meaning a full range of drainage products are now available to all customers from more than 500 locations across the UK, compared to the previous 53 branches. It also gives Drain Center customers an improved geographical reach when travelling across the country for projects.
Matt Allcock, Drain Center Director, explains: “Combining the operational models enables Plumb and Parts Center branches to access the specialist knowledge provided by Drain Center, whilst all customers now have a hub of product knowledge in one place. We know that installers don’t want to spend time carrying out multiple transactions during their busy day and this change is all about improving our customer service through making it easier to do business.”
