Pump specialist Stuart Turner has launched its new Showermate range of bathroom and shower pumps, adding more power to deliver improved shower performance. PBM reports.
Previously consisting of Showermate, Showermate ECO and Showermate TP, Stuart Turner has rationalised its range with the unveiling of a ‘new look’ Showermate branded range of shower pumps. “Our new Showermate range marks a great start to 2021,” explains National Training Manager Richard Ballard. “The previous range had grown over several years and it was time to bring them all together under one platform.
“Our Engineering Team has worked hard to make subtle improvements to what was already a high-quality series and have delivered an easy to install product fit for new installations or replacement of both Stuart Turner and other manufacturers’ products’.”
The new design is said to come with “all the quality and reliability associated with Stuart Turner” and offers a high performing, high quality shower pump that is available in three performance options — 1.5, 2.0 and 2.6 bar. With universal or standard and twin or single models to choose from, bathroom designers and installers “can specify with confidence” across a wide range of applications.
As with all Stuart Turner products, Showermate is designed to be simple to install and is classified as ‘Quiet Operation’ with anti-vibration feet included in the design to reduce noise transmission further. The pumps are continuously rated, feature automatic switching and come with flexible 15 x 205mm, push-fit anti-vibration hoses with ¾ BSP threaded connection to the pump.
The Showermate range is said to complement the existing and well-established range of Monsoon pumps, giving a greater selection for installers and homeowners alike, and the products carry a three year warranty and also benefit from the support offered by the firm’s TechAssist Team. Furthermore, the pumps are also eligible for the Stuart Turner Installer Loyalty Club which offers trade professionals access to exclusive promotions and incentives.
Stuart Turner has also further extended its Aquaboost range of cold-water pressure and flow boosting solutions for multiple applications with the new iBolt and iMatic intelligent variable speed boosting solutions. For example, available as a standalone single pump or single and twin booster sets, the Aquaboost iBolt range of variable speed booster pumps and pump sets feature horizontal multistage pumps controlled by air-cooled variable speed frequency inverters mounted directly on the pump motor which are designed to deliver a constant water pressure supply where flow demand varies.
Described as high performing yet intuitive to commission, the pumps deliver flow rates from 5m³/hour to 15m³/hour and head pressures up to 9.0 bar depending on the chosen variant within the range.
With an added buffer of pressurised cold water to supplement pressure and flow, Aquaboost iBolt Booster Sets are supplied with a WRAS-approved 8 or 24 litre pressure vessel, combined with either a single or twin pump set mounted on a powder coated base plate for ease of installation. Twin booster sets offer up to 15 m³/hour per pump with heads up to 7.1 bar.
