North West-based builders’ merchant Beesley & Fildes completes purchase of Radcliffe Building Supplies.
The business became available to purchase due to the retirement of Fred Wilkinson, who founded the company over 30 years ago.
Established in 1820, Beesley & Fildes is a family owned company with eight depots throughout the North West and it also offers online trading. The site in Radcliffe will be transformed with a substantial investment programme, to offer one of the most comprehensive services to the construction and maintenance markets in the region.
Commenting on the acquisition today, Beesley & Fildes’ Managing Director, Lee Davies, said “The acquisition of this site in Manchester will help in expanding operations throughout the North West.”
