Everbuild – A Sika Company has undertaken a restructure of the sales department, starting off with a fresh set of eyes and utilising talent already existing within the company and bringing it to the forefront.
With over 25 years of experience working for Sika, Tom Forsyth has been appointed as Business Unit Manager for Sika Everbuild; a role he will undertake alongside his current position as Business Unit Manager for both the Concrete and Waterproofing target markets. The success seen with these target markets is a testament to the hard work and dedication Tom has shown and he is determined to continue to build on the success already seen within Sika Everbuild since its acquisition by Sika in 2013.
Speaking about the recent changes, Tom commented: “I am excited to be given the challenge of managing the sales and marketing teams of Sika Everbuild and am looking forward to developing the team to continue to deliver a high quality service to our customers with a wide range of products which offer value to both our customers and the end user.”
Working with Tom to create an even stronger sales team are Darren Bunting; formerly National Specification Manager Sealing and Bonding, now National Sales Manager for Nationals and Wayne Angelo; formerly Regional Sales Manager for London and the South East, now National Sales Manager for Independents.
Of his new role Wayne commented: “2018 will be a big year for Sika Everbuild and the challenge of changing the sales mentality & taking the sales team to the next level while keeping us ahead of the competition excites me and I’m extremely proud to be part of the new team!”
Darren and Wayne have been with Sika Everbuild for 10 and 12 years respectively, bringing a wealth of invaluable industry knowledge and experience which is essential within their new roles.
Darren spoke about this new venture, saying: “I’m really looking forward to the challenge ahead and working with a great group of people. We have many challenges ahead and this is a new start that has a very exciting future for all involved.”
