Snows Timber restructures management team

Snows Timber has seen substantial growth in all areas of its business in the past two years, increasing its annual turnover to £43 million. With further growth in its core markets predicted for 2015-16, the board is restructuring its senior management team to reflect its business development ambitions.

As of 1st July, Mark Bowers becomes Commercial Director, amalgamating the roles of
procurement and sales & marketing. Jim Peryer remains as Managing Director and has
temporarily assumed additional responsibility for operations. Scott Russell remains as Finance
Director.

John Lloyd, Snows’ current Procurement Director, is returning to the north west of England with his
family after 15 years of achievement and dedicated service to Snows. Paul Trevelyan retired as
Snows’ Operations Director at the end of March, and his successor will be announced shortly.

“John Lloyd has made a considerable contribution to the business over the past 15 years and we
wish him and his family every success as he relocates back to the north west,” comments Snows
Timber’s Managing Director, Jim Peryer. “Mark Bowers has international expertise in both wood
procurement and sales & marketing, and bringing these skill-sets together as Commercial Director
will help drive forward further growth for Snows Timber.”
