Steel Blue, the Australian safety footwear specialist, has announced the expansion of its European presence with a new office and warehouse in Sheffield.
The facility becomes the company’s sixth warehouse (with other locations in the Netherlands, USA, New Zealand and two in Australia) and follows the considerable demand for Steel Blue boots in the UK market. In addition, as a CO2nstruct Zero Business Champion, reducing the carbon footprint with improved shipping efficiency and implementing strategies in line with Net Zero goals was a priority for the business.
The new Sheffield office will accommodate client meetings, staff training sessions and flexible workspaces whilst the warehouse will allow for 14,000 pairs of boots dedicated to UK stock as well as accessories, POS material, merchandise, and brochures.
The Steel Blue product range includes Men’s and Ladies safety boots, Mid-Cut or Ankle-High, enhanced safety features such as Metatarsal protection, and several colour choices. And now with local stock, the firm says that deliveries across the UK will be faster whist customer service, sales and marketing support will all be increased.
