Stelrad Radiators has been named Supplier Partner of the Year for 2019 by plumbers merchant Graham.
Stelrad supplies a wide range of radiators for the heating sector via Graham and has reportedly invested heavily in its logistics organisation that ensures that more than 99% of all radiator orders are completed and delivered with 72 hours of orders being placed. The Stelrad National Distribution Centre in Mexborough South Yorkshire has around 350,000 radiators in stock at any one time and can call off most of its popular sized radiators from stock on a same day basis, before providing the radiators on pallets to be delivered by the company’s logistics partner to the merchant branch in question.
National Sales Director David Bainbridge was there to receive the award and he was naturally delighted that the company had been singled out for recognition in 2019: “Winning awards is always wonderful and to win one that recognises the excellence of our operation is even better,” he said. “It’s great to win an award from a company that has as high standards as we have ourselves, and who recognise that we put the customer first and do everything we can to meet the specific requirements of the customer not just once or twice a year, but in the case of Graham, every day of every year.
