Virtual Worlds has made the shortlist for the Retail Systems Awards 2020, earning its place in the In Store Innovation of the Year category.
Celebrating excellence and innovation in the retail sector, the award is in its 15th year, with a judging panel made up of retail industry experts selecting the final winners from those shortlisted, to be announced at a gala dinner in London in October.
Virtual Worlds has caught the attention of the judges with 4D Theatre, which is said to be changing the format of traditional showrooms, helping retailers overcome the problem of restricted display space and providing consumers with a fully immersive design experience which changes their buying behaviour.
For retailers, the self-service display solves a common problem faced by kitchen and bathroom retailers. The customer is in control of the showroom displays, and they can choose a style which suits their taste. Rather than losing custom due to a lack of choice, retailers can finally appeal to all of the people, all of the time.
Commenting on the awards shortlist, Virtual Worlds Managing Director Nathan Maclean, said: “We are very pleased to have reached the shortlist for these prestigious retail awards. 4D Theatre is changing the way that retailers sell kitchens and bathrooms, revolutionising the entire design process, from showroom displays onwards. We look forward to the awards ceremony in October and wish everyone shortlisted the very best of luck.”
