Werner hits the bullseye with sponsorship deal

Werner is once again the proud sponsor of Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor, following a successful partnership in 2015 with the darts legend and 16 times World Champion.

The renewed deal is, in fact, the third year for the successful partnership which is designed to promote the Werner brand to professional installers, trade audiences and end consumers. Also as part of the deal, Phil will become a brand ambassador for Werner, making special guest appearances at trade shows throughout the year and challenging visitors to the stand to a game of the supplier’s famous ‘gravity darts’, where players aim a dart at a board on the floor whilst standing on one of the company’s Podium Ladders.

“We are delighted to renew our sponsorship with Phil,” commented Marketing Manager Joanne Mitchell. “Phil is a real favourite with darts fans around the world, so it is great for the Werner brand to be aligned with such a popular and hugely successful sports personality. The sponsorship deal with Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor follows the recent news that US-headquartered business has invested more than $1.8m at its Maldon UK facility, further strengthening its position in the UK market.
