Wilsonart has announced that it will distribute its popular Zenith compact laminate into its builders’ merchant network.
Zenith is Wilsonart’s best-performing compact laminate: 12.5mm thin, and a ‘tough performer’ that is described as looking and feeling like stone yet doesn’t require templating. Manufactured with a solid-core composition, Zenith is said to be fully waterproof with a consistent colour that carries throughout and a double-sided decorative finish.
The range also features innovative hygiene-focused properties including a lifelong anti-bacterial protection that is food-safe and destroys 99.9% of bacteria within just 24 hours.
Nick Jones, Sales Leader UK at Wilsonart UK, said: “As a result of its unique properties, Zenith has seen increasing demand over the past twelve months across the construction, contract market and private residential sectors. Zenith has also been specified in new areas of the market for us, including in student accommodation properties and the FF&E sector.

Consequently, from March, we will shift to a distribution model via our builders’ merchants to help facilitate more accessible purchasing options and to continue to meet increasing levels of demand.”
To mark the new direction for the Zenith brand, Wilsonart will also be launching free installation training in the coming months to provide further support on the practical application and benefits of Zenith to its installer partners. The sessions will offer detailed product information and guidance on fitting to enable installers to fit Zenith surfaces with confidence and ease.
