Tim Wood, Marketing Manager at XL Joinery, commented: “We’re delighted to be partnering with the Lighthouse Club. The work it does to support construction workers and their families is vital for ensuring those in the industry feel supported both in and out of work. Recent data has shown that those working in construction are at high risk of suffering from mental health issues so we’re happy to do anything we can to support those suffering.”
Bill Hill, CEO of the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, added: “We’re extremely grateful for the donation from XL Joinery. We receive no public funding so rely on the generosity of those within the industry to help carry out our work. Thank you to the team there for their kind contribution!”
