The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) will celebrate its 150th supplier member when Weber, a world leader in the manufacture of industrial mortars, joins the Federation later this month.
Part of the worldwide Saint Gobain group, Weber operates in 54 countries supported by almost 200 production units, which ensure that products are produced close to the markets they supply and that consistent quality is maintained. Three of these manufacturing plants are in the UK, supplying Weber’s core product range of external renders, technical mortars, tile fixing and floor screeds.
Weber also provides full technical support, including an NBS specification service, application support and training for specifiers, contractors and distributing merchants.
“I believe that Weber is now the 12th company within the Saint-Gobain group to join the BMF. Having had the opportunity to experience the power of BMF networking first hand at the recent Conference in Malta, I can see why the Federation is highly regarded by my Saint-Gobain colleagues and many others involved in the building materials supply chain,” said Pete Temprell, Weber Sales & Marketing Director.
