Following on from the Prime Minister’s announcement last week outlining the UK’s roadmap out of coronavirus restrictions, the Builders Merchants Federation has confirmed that it is moving this year’s BMF-hosted All Industry Conference to 4-7th November 2021.
The event, taking place in York and Harrogate, was originally scheduled for June 17-20 whilst the PM announced June 21 as the date it is hoped that all lock down measures will be eased.
Accordingly, in a message from the BMF, CEO John Newcomb said: “We feel that for the safety and wellbeing of our Members, the conference should be moved to later in the year. Taking into account all major industry events, we are now moving the conference to 4-7th November 2021. We are looking forward to seeing you at what promises to be the single largest event in the construction industry this year.”
The BMF explained that bookings will be carried forward to the rescheduled dates in November with second stage registration now being launched at the beginning of July, where delegates will be asked to confirm your delegate names and hotel rooming requirements. The venues and programme will remain as originally announced.
The rescheduled November event is set to go with a bang, as with the Conference now falling on 5 November it is particularly appropriate that it will take place in York — the birthplace of Guy Fawkes, whose gunpowder, treason and plot made an explosive contribution to our national history.
If delegates have any questions, they are advised to contact the BMF Event Team via bmf@firstevent.co.uk
