Viv Anderson signs for ArtificialGrass.com at NMBS Exhibition

Continuing the footballing tradition of its stands at the NMBS Exhibition, ArtificialGrass.com will be joined this year by former England international Viv Anderson.

Following in the boot steps of Chris Waddle, Emile Heskey and Gordon Banks, Viv will be available on ArtificialGrass.com’s stand number 51 at the annual NMBS event, taking place at Coventry Building Society Arena on 6-7 April 2022.

Viv was the first black player to represent the England senior squad in football and went on to gain thirty caps for his country, as well as serving under Brian Clough at Nottingham Forest in their League and European Cup wins. He was awarded an MBE in 2000 for his work in the wider football community and is still held in high esteem by the fans and clubs he has played for including Manchester United, Arsenal and Sheffield Wednesday.

“Face-to-face events like these are a natural extension of our ever-present in-store visits to NMBS merchants. Keeping the conversations going – whether about football or artificial grass products – helps us continue to build healthy relationships and understand market dynamics from members’ perspectives. It’s been great to have Viv involved as a fellow pioneer in his field, and we’re looking forward to the banter and buzz on the stand that we’ve enjoyed at previous shows,” notes Andy Driver, Sales and Marketing Director of Evergreens UK Group, of which ArtificialGrass.com is the merchant brand.

Approaching its tenth year as NMBS suppliers, ArtificialGrass.com will be inviting show visitors to enjoy a few moments and a photo with Viv as well as discussing future offers and additions to its product range. Its latest innovation is the new artificial green wall system, EverWall, which will form a beautiful green backdrop to the stand and is described as the perfect complement to the company’s “ground-breaking pollution solution”, the environmentally-conscious AIR artificial grass range.

In a rapidly growing lawn marketplace, with an increased focus on online sales and a shift in buying behaviours in continuing pandemic conditions, the ArtificialGrass.com team state that they have the “knowledge, team commitment, expertise and promotional materials” to best support merchants, helping them maximise their digital and online landscaping sales.
