Huws Gray has invested in the latest Uni-Roll 750 joist press at its Llangefni Truss & Easi-Joist manufacturing plant. This follows the firm’s recent investment in the extension of the truss press to 36m and investing in a randek saw in 2015.
Osian Jones, Truss & Easi–Joist Centre Manager, commented: “The new Uni-Roll 750 press is capable of producing easi-joists up to 12m in length, an increase of 4 metres, greatly improving the range of easi-joist solutions for our customers. The press greatly increases the production capacity of easi-joists, meaning we will be able to pass on the time-saving to our customers. We therefore aim to offer easi-joists in a guaranteed 10 day or less delivery service from confirmations of order and site specifications.”
The innovative Uni-Roll 750 uses powerful rollers which will produce consistent and precise high quality easi-joists, with unique mechanical clamping on the internal and external sides of the easi-joist chords. Beams will be manufactured to exact dimensions, and this is described as a welcome addition to Huws Gray’s impressive manufacturing set up.
