Baumit reports it is looking to expand its network of Merchant Partners across the UK as its major “Finish Faster. Win Bigger.” campaign continues to gather momentum.
MonoPlus stock and campaign point-of-sale are appearing at selected builders’ merchants and specialist render distributors around the country as the business – reputedly one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of External Wall Insulation, render and plaster solutions – continues to grow its Merchant Partner network.
The supplier states that the aim is “not simply to increase distribution, but to create an active merchant network that gives applicators more opportunities to discover MonoPlus, take part in the promotion, and engage with Baumit through their local branch.” The campaign is also designed to provide a platform for the company to “strengthen relationships with merchants and applicators and build longer-term engagement with the brand.”
Sales Director James Wilson said: “Builders’ merchants are an essential route to market for Baumit UK and are central to our wider growth strategy. That’s why developing a strong Merchant Partner network is so important to us.
“The Finish Faster. Win Bigger. campaign gives our Merchant Partners something more than simply stock on the shelf. By combining strong in-branch visibility with digital promotion, Trade Days and a £15,000 applicator prize campaign, we can help merchants create conversations at the counter while giving applicators a genuine reason to engage with Baumit.”
He continued: “While MonoPlus is at the heart of this campaign, we also see it as an opportunity to introduce merchants and applicators to more of the Baumit range, from our External Wall Insulation systems and renders through to paints and finishes. We want that initial engagement with MonoPlus to open the door to a much broader relationship with Baumit.
“Our ambition is to build a strong network of active MonoPlus Merchant Partners across the UK and, importantly, to support those partners after they join. Every successful branch strengthens the network and helps us introduce Baumit and our wider range of solutions to more applicators across the UK.”
For the campaign itself, participating merchants are being supported by counter displays, promotional leaflets, QR materials, NFC-enabled counter cubes, branch photography and Trade Day activity – giving merchant teams a strong in-branch story to share with their trade customers.
Applicators who purchase MonoPlus from an approved participating merchant can upload their receipt to the campaign platform. Approved receipts earn one Baumit Point for every £1 spent on MonoPlus and unlock a prize-wheel spin, with prizes including Baumit Points, vouchers and prepaid Mastercards. Applicators can also upload examples of their finished MonoPlus work, with standout content giving them the chance to compete for the campaign’s larger prizes.
Across the campaign, applicators can win prizes from a fund of up to £15,000, including a £5,000 hero prize. The promotion runs until 31 October 2026 and is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, subject to the full campaign terms and conditions. Applicators can take part via the MonoPlus app at monoplus.baumit.co.uk, where they can upload receipts, earn Baumit Points and enter for the chance to win.
