The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) has announced that Flamco UK, the manufacturer of system components for heating, cooling and potable water installations, has joined the trade body.
Flamco is said to be best known in the UK for its range of expansion vessels, its accessories for heating and cooling installations, such as its Prescor Safety relief valves and its Flexvent automatic air vents and T-plus units designed to provide perfect system branches in pipework without needing to drain systems.
Most recently it is becoming known for its new water treatment system – RedProtect – that includes a system filter and cleaning and inhibitor chemicals which are in a solid format rather than the usual liquid or gel.
Flamco Sales Director, John Lynch, commented: “As we grow and diversify in the UK and Ireland heating and plumbing sector, it makes huge sense for us to become members of relevant trade and industry bodies. We are becoming an established business in the sector now and we sell our products through national and regional builders and plumbers’ merchants and buying groups, most of whom are members of the BMF. We’re looking forward to a long and happy relationship with the BMF in the months and years ahead.”
