Brett Landscaping says it is “working hard to make sure merchants have all the facts at their fingertips” with a package of training sessions and factory visits, like the one recently enjoyed by staff at Lords Builders Merchants.
Keen to work closely with merchant partners, Brett has put together an ‘Express Training’ programme for staff and has set up visits to its state-of-the-art production facility at Cliffe, in Rochester, Kent. A group of senior staff from Lords, including sales managers and managing directors, recently visited the site to learn more about Brett’s Agg Tech process which is used to manufacture its Invicta paving in addition to seeing more about the manufacturing processes for the Lugano block paving.
This was followed up by an Express Training session at Lords’ Hayes branch for 12 staff from a number of the merchant’s different branches. The training covered the technical aspects of the manufacturing process as well as recommendations for which products suit various projects.
Anthony Jillians, Regional Sales Director for Lords, said of the Express Training: “We really appreciated the interactive nature of the training, and I was pleased to see the engagement from our team members.”
Teresa Jacob, Area Sales Manager for Brett Landscaping, added: “We were delighted to welcome the team from Lords to our manufacturing plant at Cliffe. They were very interested in the advances in technology that have given us the opportunity to create our exciting new products.
“We are always happy to support our merchant partners with training to make sure they understand our products and that their customers are then happy with their decisions.”
For more information on Brett’s products and training provision, the manufacturer says merchants should email landscapinginfo@brett.co.uk or speak to their local representative.
