Chadwicks has undergone a major refurbishment as part of its business growth strategy. The overhaul of the Blackpool-based builders’ merchant has included radical changes to the exterior, such new cladding to the walls, improved signage, as well as replacement windows.

Significant internal changes, meanwhile, include the complete refurbishment of its kitchen showroom which now boasts 17 displays including modern, traditional and shaker kitchens alongside top range appliances as well as an extensive range of worktops.

The hardware department has undergone a re-merchandising programme that has seen improvements to numerous product ranges including ironmongery, handtools, fixings and sealants.

The branch specialises in supplying the likes of timber and sheets, kitchens, hardware, and doors and joinery. Additionally, with the relocation of Blackpool Power Tools – which has been supplying professional tools and equipment since 1985 – into the branch, Chadwicks is now able to provide a one-stop-shop service for builders and trade professionals in the area.

Branch Manager Steve Hanson said: “We have an ambitious plan to grow the business, which is why we have invested so much time and resources into this refurbishment project. We also have more staff working in branch to support our customers and provide expert advice. I believe that this combination of high quality service, wide range of products and the branch refurbishment will really drive the business forward.”
