Part of the Huws Gray group of companies, Civils & Lintels has been named a preferred supplier of hard landscaping products to subcontractors working on developments for the Vistry Group.
With a focus on continued growth and the stability of its supply chain, the leading mixed-tenure developer has group procurement agreements in place across numerous areas so that it can “be assured of sourcing the right products in the correct places at the appropriate times when they’re needed.” Each agreement is reviewed on a case-by-case basis with partnership working being a key consideration.
Chris Evans, Group Procurement Manager at Vistry Group, said: “As a business, we’ve evolved significantly over the past few years. To ensure ongoing growth and stability, it has proven vital that we form meaningful working partnerships with our supply chain. This is not only important in terms of maintaining the necessary momentum to deliver against our targets, but also in terms of compliance.
“Partnering with merchants, manufacturers and subcontractors who share a combined commitment to positive communication, transparency and delivering excellence supports us in guaranteeing consistency in the quality of homes that we deliver, regardless of location or the contractor on site.”
Vistry Group, which is comprised of Bovis Homes, Linden Homes, Countryside Homes and Countryside Partnerships, is active throughout the UK and is forecasted to deliver over 20,000 new homes during this year.
Tim Slesser, Sales Director for Residential at Civils & Lintels, commented: “We place utmost pride on the relationships that we build, not only with key manufacturers, but also with those to whom we’re supplying products. We’re more than simply a merchant or delivery partner and have invested heavily in ensuring that we understand the products and their suitability for the intended use.
“This commitment, combined with our truly nationwide reach, has been pivotal in securing this agreement with Vistry. Being a preferred supplier for such a highly regarded housebuilding group is testament to the hard work of everyone at Civils & Lintels and we are excited to see this relationship develop over the coming years.”
Concluding, Chris Evans added: “Having worked with Tim Slesser and the team at Civils & Lintels for many years, I am certain of their first-class knowledge of the products we require our subcontractors to use, but also that they have an unrivalled ‘can-do’ approach to working with all partners in the supply chain to deliver the desired outcome and positively navigate any compliance hurdles along the way.”
The procurement agreement, which lasts through 2024 and 2025, also includes Jewson.
