In a strategic move which marks a significant expansion for the h&b Group member, South West Wales-based Davies Builders Merchants has announced the official opening of its new branch, following the acquisition of Taf Building Supplies in St Clears.
Managing Director Kevin De Banks said: “We are excited to welcome Taf Building Supplies into the Davies Builders Merchants family. Taf has a strong reputation for excellent customer service and a loyal customer base, and we look forward to building upon their legacy.”
All Taf employees have been retained, ensuring a seamless transition for customers and maintaining the friendly and knowledgeable service they have come to expect. And as part of the acquisition, Davies has invested in upgrading the St. Clears branch, including renovations to the yard and showroom. Additionally, the company is introducing its popular kitchen and bathroom design and supply services to the area.
Kevin added: “We are confident that this acquisition will benefit both our customers and the local economy. By combining our strengths, we can offer an even wider range of products and services to our customers while supporting local jobs and businesses.”
