The NMBS Exhibition, the UK’s leading exhibition for independent building, timber, plumbing and hardware merchants, will take place on 10–11 April 2024 at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
Last year’s event achieved record numbers, welcoming more than 280 exhibitors, 558 independent merchant member companies and 1,084 visitors through the Coventry Building Society Arena doors.
NMBS states that “with great exhibitors registered for the 2024 exhibition, visitors will be able to see all our major suppliers.” What’s more, a large range of suppliers will be offering substantial extra discounts, promotions and special rebate offers that are only available to those who attend and place orders throughout the exhibition.
Chief Executive Officer Chris Hayward: “Our merchant members earned over £2.5 million in exhibition rebate from purchases made during the 2023 exhibition alone. The NMBS Exhibition is an unmissable opportunity for independent merchants and suppliers to come together to take advantage of deals, offers and networking opportunities.”
The NMBS Exhibition App – which id designed to help speed up the ordering process, collect member data and support commercial connections – will also be relaunched at the event.
Following the first day of the show, NMBS will be hosting its annual Gala Dinner. The orgainisation teased that “this year’s entertainment is set to be memorable,” with previous years bringing Michael McIntyre, Harry Redknapp and Frank Bruno to the stage.
Chris added: “The Gala Dinner presents a fantastic opportunity to foster connections between independent merchants and suppliers, enabling them to navigate the challenges of the upcoming year.”
