Double Awards success for E. Tupling

E. Tupling has celebrated the deserved success of Alex Barton, Office and Accounts Administrator, who was named  Young Supplier Achiever of the Year at the recent Builders Merchant Federation Awards. Her achievement comes hot on the heels of the brand also being named ‘Best Underfloor Heating System Provider UK’ at the Build Construction & Engineering Awards.

Claire Briars, the company’s Head of Marketing who created and submitted the award nominations, said: “Alex was an obvious choice for such an award. She is a very talented young lady who portrays the ability to constantly strive to excel and self-develop not just personally for self-satisfaction, but more importantly Alex will use her initiative, willpower, passion and ambition for the good of others, the business and the environment.

“E.Tupling is extremely lucky to have such a dedicated and determined employee and we as a team truly think that no one deserved to win this Young Achiever Award more than Alex!”

Award winner Alex added: “It was such an honour to be nominated, but to then find out I was a finalist and progress to successfully being announced as the winner was incredible! The BMF black tie dinner award ceremony was a wonderful experience. Claire and I were both very grateful for the opportunity to attend, and this will be a memory I will never forget and will always be proud of.”

This award follows closely behind the leading distributor to independent builders’ and plumbers’ merchants scooping ‘Best Underfloor Heating System Provider UK’ at the recent Build Construction & Engineering Awards 2021.

The company, which operates from its 25,000sq.ft. Warrington Distribution Centre, says that it has “revolutionised” the way it distributes and provides underfloor heating (UFH) solutions to its valued merchant customers over the past few years. Recently launching its brand new UFH catalogue, said to be an industry first for the distribution industry, has enabled the business to more effectively showcase its “vast new and improved selection and choice of UFH brands, floor systems and simplified off the shelf room packs”.

Managing Director Tim Whitehead said: “We are often described by our merchant partners as a consultant, broker if you like, in the supply of UFH. We as a team are wholly impartial, have researched the entire market and benefit from agreements with four of the leading manufacturers in our industry – Polypipe, Maincor, Circoflo and Heat Mat. We have a completely unbiased approach and for all of these reasons we can pinpoint the best UFH System on a case by case focused project assessment.”

Ross Duncanson, Commercial Director, added: “Our dedicated UFH team provide a full schedule of materials, itemised quotation and pipe layout design as standard. Our experience and passion for UFH together with our technical knowledge, attention to detail, unrivalled customer service and market leading pricing provides a clear competitive advantage in the distribution market.”
