IBMG launches private-label product range

Independent Builders Merchants Group (IBMG) has announced its first foray into private-label products with the launch of its ProRange product line. The first product to launch under the brand is underfloor heating (UFH).

Designed exclusively for the trade installer, IBMG’s ProRange UFH includes a two-year guarantee on manifolds, pumps, controls, mixing valves, and a 50-year guarantee on pipes. Available throughout IBMG’s 46 plumbing branch network – including Total Plumbing SuppliesGrant & StoneRGBSussex Plumbing Suppliers and DW Burns among others – all branches will also be providing a free design service and 24-hour turnaround on quotations.

Ian Kenny of IBMG said: “We are delighted to launch our first private-label product providing our customers with increased choice. We’ve been at the coalface of product supplies for decades so we know what installers want and we know what makes a product ‘great’, so launching our own-brand range, is a logical step for us.

“Our customers know they can rely on us for advice, service and support and as a result they are confident that our ProRange products will be of high quality. Installer feedback on ProRange UFH has been very positive so far.”

IBMG says it will be adding to its ProRange line over the coming year, with the intention to provide a comprehensive product range to installers.

As for the inaugural introduction, IBMG says that when compared to traditional radiators, ProRange UFH provides homeowners with more efficient heating. It states: “Generally running at around 45°C, as opposed to 80°C used in radiator systems, ProRange UFH saves on energy and running costs, especially when used with a renewable heat source.”
