A plumber from Yorkshire has been announced as the winner of JG Speedfit’s ‘ain’t no Pipe Dream’ competition.
Daniel Wilkes, a regular customer at the Hunslet branch of James Hargreaves, is the lucky winner of a £15,000 holiday after scooping the top prize in JG Speedfit’s 26-week long competition. The initiative also gave away annual Merlin passes, city breaks, TicketMaster vouchers and BSB race tickets to lucky installers through fortnightly prize draws. This is in addition to giving away Love2Shop vouchers to merchants who sold JG Speedfit products to the winning installers.
Carl Bridge, Purchasing Director at James Hargreaves, said: “It was nice to see a national competition of such magnitude being won by a local independent customer. What was particularly nice about this promotion was that it rewarded both merchants and customers for using JG Speedfit products.”

Following the success of the competition, JG Speedfit recently launched a new campaign giving installers the chance to win £5,000 worth of underfloor heating equipment. The company’s ‘Speedfit Support’ team is inviting customers to submit floor plans of their underfloor heating project and providing free CAD drawings and project estimates, exclusively produced by specialist designers.
By submitting floor plans, installers will be entered into a draw and one lucky entrant will win the underfloor heating equipment to accomplish their project. Entry to the competition closes on 16th December 2016.
