NMBS has confirmed the host for its 2018 All-Industry Conference.
This year’s event – which takes place from the 14th to the 17th June at the Grand Hotel Dino, Baveno on the shores of Lake Maggiore, Italy – will be hosted by behaviourist, broadcaster, highly accomplished keynote speaker and award-winning author, Jez Rose.
Dubbed ‘The Behaviour Expert’, Jez has spent much of his life learning about and being fascinated by human behaviour – and in particular how small changes in the way we think and act can help ordinary people to achieve extraordinary results.
His ability to explore complicated topics in a readily accessible way and with great honesty, clarity, warmth and humour enables him to truly engage and inspire audiences.
In particular, Jez has a passionate interest in how human behaviour and wellbeing benefit from a greater connection with the natural world. This has led him to purchase an 18th century farmhouse complete with agricultural land to test his theories on the cognitive and emotional impact of nature on human psychology.
Jez has also launched an innovative research initiative called ‘The Good Life Project’, which conducts evidence-based research in real-world environments to determine the most cost-effective and efficacious health, wellbeing and behavioural benefits of nature to organisations.
Thanks to his unique expertise and his evident passion, Jez has been invited to speak at conferences and events in more than 14 countries and on behalf of numerous global organisations including Audi, HP (Hewlett-Packard), Honda, Hitachi and KPMG.
Commenting on Jez’s role as host for the 2018 NMBS All-Industry Conference, Sam Hunt, Events Manager at the buying society, said: “Securing Jez as the host for NMBS’ 2018 All-Industry Conference is a real coup.
“He has a unique and highly entertaining style, not to mention a thoroughly infectious personality which really draws audiences in.
“He provides a unique learning experience, all designed at helping people to find the most creative – and often entertaining – ways to change for the better.”
