Wycombe Wanderers has welcomed Lords Builders Merchants back to the club as its new rear-of shirt sponsor for the 2023/24 season.
With a number of branches in the local area, Lords was already a familiar name around the club’s Adams Park ground having previously sponsored the away stand at the stadium. In addition to the logo on the shirts, Lords will hold an executive box at Adams Park and support the club’s planned stadium developments, as well as providing special offers for its supporters.
Lords Group Managing Director Jamie Herd said the company was thrilled to renew its relationship with the Chairboys. He said: “We know this is a fantastic club with proud roots across its local community and we’re pleased to be part of that. Seeing our logo across the back of the excellent new shirts is a proud moment for us as a company and we can’t wait to see the team in action up and down the country when the season gets underway.
“Matt Bloomfield is a manager I have huge admiration for, and we are excited to get right behind him and his team throughout the forthcoming season and beyond at the start of a new era for the club and everyone involved.”
Neil Peters, the club’s Head of Business Operations, hosted Jamie and fellow Lords director Darren Price at the club’s Marlow Road training base this week and added: “Lords has been a wonderful supporter of the football club over the last few years, and we’re delighted to begin a new partnership with them as our rear of shirt sponsor.
“We’re really looking forward to welcoming them and their staff and clients along to Adams Park in their executive box at each game, and hope this is the beginning of a great new chapter for us both which will go from strength to strength over the coming years.”
