In a statement that will doubtless have parallels across the sector, Marsh Industries has issued an update regarding a price increase set to take effect in August.
The communication, from Sales Director Ollie Beaumont, notes that over the past year and despite ongoing global uncertainty leading to rising fuel and operational costs, it has “worked hard to absorb as much of these increases as possible…” with the business remaining “committed to supporting the industry by keeping price increases to an absolute minimum, despite continued pressures across manufacturing, transport, and raw material supply.”
It continues: “Unlike some manufacturers within the industry, Marsh Industries has chosen not to invoke force majeure provisions or apply short-notice surcharges during this period. Instead, we have continued to work closely with our suppliers and customers to maintain consistency of supply and pricing wherever possible.”
However, while stating that it “fully understand(s) the challenges currently facing the industry and have delayed passing on additional costs wherever we could… continued increases in raw materials, fuel, logistics, and operational expenses mean that this position is no longer sustainable as we move into the latter part of the year.”
Accordingly, as part of its annual pricing review, and “in line with our contractual obligations to provide three months’ notice, Marsh Industries intends to implement a price increase of approximately 5.75%
across our product ranges, effective from 10th August 2026.”
The statement concludes: “Our continuing goal remains to deliver the best products at the best possible price, supported by outstanding quality and customer service.”
