MKM is launching its first ever television advertising campaign, promoting its flagship ‘MKM Home’ retail showroom in Hull in addition to a finance offer which is to be rolled out to a number of its merchant branches.
Just a stone’s throw away from MKM’s Central Support, MKM Home brings together “eye-catching kitchen, bathroom and landscaping designs, and a host of dynamic product displays to provide a totally unique proposition for homeowners and tradespeople across Yorkshire and beyond.”
The advert, which will be broadcast via AdSmart on Sky TV, is built around the theme of ‘bring the imagination home’ and will geo-target the areas of Hull and the wider East Riding. The campaign will be supported by a wider marketing activities, including the advert being shown at Hull’s popular MKM Stadium.
Furthermore, the merchant firm’s commitment to supporting local talent is clear throughout the advert with the aptly-named, 9 year-old Star – a student of the Northern Academy of Performing Arts – taking the leading role with local videographer and founder of the Hull & Humber ‘30 Under 30’, Simon Jones, directing.

Alongside the launch of the advert, MKM is also launching three new flexible finance packages to make it easier than ever before for retail customers to make their dream kitchen, bathroom or garden a reality. The offering has been trialled at MKM Home in Hull and will be rolled out to 20 other branches nationwide this year.
