Bobcat Safety Footwear has introduced a new range of impactful point-of-sale display boards, developed to help merchants drive awareness and sales across its expanding safety footwear portfolio.
Designed to draw the eye, the new displays “capture the bold, iconic identity of the Bobcat brand,” combining impactful visuals with clear product information to help customers make faster purchasing decisions. Each board showcases up to five footwear styles from the range, spanning 27 SKUs with safety ratings from S3 to S7, including women’s-specific options.
The new PoS initiative forms part of a broader support package available to stockists including branded packaging and a suite of marketing materials, such as product brochures and leaflets. Merchants can also benefit from bespoke support and in-branch product demonstrations for both staff and customers, delivered remotely via phone or video, or through pre-arranged site visits.
“We know that merchants have a small captive window to entice their busy customers so our new displays have been developed to combine strong visual impact with the established heritage of the Bobcat brand. We see this as an important toolkit to help merchants engage customers and support purchasing decisions at the trade counter.”
In addition, the new Bobcat Safety Footwear website has been created to provide easy-to-access support tools, including a detailed overview of each product, along with full technical specifications, as well as a ‘become a stockist’ section. Furthermore, the brand has also implemented “a hard-hitting national promotional campaign” targeted at professional builders, installers and contractors, focused on driving trade buyers to builders’ merchants.
Peter Lawson, Brand Manager at distributor Overland Shoes, said: “For today’s customers who value ease and efficiency, taking the time to scroll through a product brochure or technical data sheet is often no longer an option. That’s why PoS is becoming an increasingly effective way for merchants to inform customers about new product developments and the associated benefits.
