The NMBS Golf Day recently showcased that business and pleasure can mix in remarkable fashion.
On Wednesday 31st May 2017, the NMBS staged its ever-popular annual Golf Day in partnership with the Building Materials Golf Society (BMGS).
In total, 120 people from across NMBS’ membership and supplier base attended, who all enjoyed the great weather, impressive scenery, the superb course and great company.
The course chosen was the Dukes Course at the Woburn Golf Course which was the location for the British Masters for 20 years, as well as hosting the Women’s British Open Championship. The 6,983-yard course provided excellent fairways and for those who didn’t stick to the fairway found the course was lined with pine, sliver birch and chestnut trees.
All players teed off at the same time by implementing a shotgun start which ensured the day ran smoothly with all players getting back at a similar time.
There were various prizes to be won on the day with the winners outlined below:
1st Prize – Jonathan Collier (Monument Tools Ltd)
2nd Prize – Chris Carter (Sydenhams Ltd)
3rd Prize – Levi Desmond (BMGS)
