Rearo secures deal with Meyer Timber

Rearo has secured a £1 million distribution deal with Meyer Timber for its bathroom wall panel product, Selkie.

Rearo’s full Selkie range will now be available across England and Wales with Meyer Timber, making the product quickly available to trade customers and leading merchants.

The Selkie range will be distributed from Meyer Timber’s depots in Stoke and Tilbury, and the manufacturer estimates the value of the deal to be up to £1million per year.

Norrie McLeod, Sales and Product Manager at Rearo, said: “Distributing Selkie through Meyer is an excellent opportunity for us, it will increase Selkie’s exposure across the UK.

“Selkie customers will now be able to order the range and have it delivered much more quickly, which will be a great boost for merchants. Our distribution agreement with Meyer means we can reach the whole of the UK quickly, and builds on our existing networks.”

“Selkie is our best-selling range. For householders and commercial premises alike, it offers an attractive, affordable and low maintenance alternative to tiling in wet areas.”

Paul Holstead, Group Commercial Manager at Meyer, commented: “Meyer has distributed Selkie shower panels successfully in Scotland for a number of years. Demand for shower panels in England and Wales is increasing significantly and we felt the time was right to now stock the range nationwide.

“Our relationship with Rearo is one built on the trust of many years of trading and one which will grow even stronger in the coming years.”

Selkie waterproof bathroom wall panels provide a waterproof wall panel system that is said to excel in any wet environment and is widely used in a variety of commercial and residential applications. The company believes the panels are easy to install and can even be placed over existing tiling. It can simply be wiped clean, without the need for scrubbing or abrasive products.
