Rockwool has announced two new appointments to its Merchant and DIY team.
Firstly, Cameron Lee (pictured, left) has joined the stone wall insulation manufacturer in the role of National Sales Manager for Merchants & DIY, and will lead the overall team. Prior to joining the business, Cameron spent the last nine years working for two insulation companies in branch and regional director roles.
The position will see him managing and developing the Rockwool Merchant and DIY division, raising awareness about the company’s colleagues and products, and focusing on how the supplier “can add real value for its diverse range of customers.”
He said: “I’m looking forward to working with great people in such a well-respected and market-leading UK-based manufacturer. My first priority will be getting to know the team and understanding how I can help them grow and develop to continue providing the very best service to our valued customers.”
Rob Cookson (pictured, right) has also joined the team in the role of National Accounts Manager – Merchants & DIY. Rob has always worked within the construction industry, and joins the company following his most recent role at a roofing company, where he spent seven years in various sales positions. Rob’s main responsibilities will be looking after the firm’s national builders’ merchant and DIY customers, both at head office level, and supporting branches and regions who want to stock the Rockwool Trade Range.
