Supreme ‘Premium’ lintels have become the first range of concrete lintels to be awarded the prestigious British Standards Kitemark – one of the world’s most recognised symbols of quality and safety.
The award means that building specifiers and contractors can now use the lintels to demonstrate best practice procurement, reduce risk, and guarantee consistent, independently assessed quality and reliability for their projects.
Recently rebranded as ‘Premium’ lintels to reflect their quality and performance, the range of precast and prestressed lintels includes both standard and high-strength options, designed to meet all requirements for 30 and 60-minute fire performance in both normal and exceptional loading applications.
Prestressed for additional strength and security, Supreme Premium Lintels are manufactured using advanced, semi-dry concrete technology for additional durability and a longer life. They are available in lengths of up to 4200mm (3600mm as standard), in a wide range of profiles to suit different wall constructions and designs.
For additional reassurance, Premium lintels can be used in combination with Supreme Padstones, which are specially engineered to work with the lintels to give assured levels of support quickly and reliably, under site conditions.
As one of the oldest and most trusted product quality marks, the BSI Kitemark is an independent assurance that the products conform fully with the standards laid down in BS EN 1992, and that Supreme operates quality management systems to ensure consistent quality and reliability.
