Travis Perkins has teamed up with The AF Group co-operative (formerly Anglia Farmers) to provide farmers and other rural businesses with access to its range of building materials, tools and accessories.
Alex Surrey, Regional Director at Travis Perkins, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for farms and rural businesses up and down the country. By working with The AF Group, we can support the rural community with availability of our excellent range at competitive prices and the service they deserve. We understand that great value is important for these customers, and by taking care of that we can allow them to spend more time on the other decisions they need to make.”
Darren Maclaren from The AF Group added: “Working closer together makes perfect sense and means our Members will benefit from convenience and competitive prices.”
The partnership is intended to ensure that The AF Group can procure key construction materials for its 3,000 Members in a “smarter and more cost-effective way.” According to the organisations, it is anticipated that working with Travis Perkins will save AF Members £30,000 a year.
