IBMG merchants launch group-wide TradeSavers campaign

For the first time in its history, the Independent Builders Merchant Group (IBMG) has launched a group-wide TradeSaver campaign. Running until the end of April, the first iteration of the campaign offers discounts from 5% to 15% on a range of products.

Curated especially for the small and medium sized building and plumbing trade customer base across the IBMG branch network, the TradeSaver campaign is IBMG’s first to encompass several of its builder and plumbing merchant brands.

For example, a bespoke Plumbers TradeSaver – available at IBMG’s heating and plumbing branches of Total Plumbing Supplies, Kent Blaxill, Grant & Stone,  RGB, D W Burns, and Dougfields – features combi boilers, air source heat pumps, sanitaryware, radiators and various plumbing accessories.

Meanwhile, a separate Builders TradeSaver campaign features up to twenty different building products and is available via the branches of RGBGrant & StoneChandlers Building SuppliesParkers Building SuppliesFairalls Builders Merchants, Kent Blaxill, CRS and BuildIt. Products include cutting blades, grouting, landscaping products, trade tools, insulation and a variety of everyday building accessories.

Ian Kenny, IBMG’s Marketing and ESG Director, said: “While each of IBMG’s builders’ and plumbers’ merchants remains proudly independent, the benefit of being part of the wider Group with a combined strength of 20+ merchant brands across a 180-strong branch network has facilitated the execution of this TradeSaver campaign.

“Our own customer research helped identify some of the product categories to include, and since launch we have witnessed exceptional demand for the featured products. We are delighted to be supporting our loyal customer base with exceptional value as well as impressive guarantees on a variety of products during these challenging months.”

The new TradeSaver campaign comes on the back of IBMG’s first foray into private label products with the launch of its ProRange label.
