As the UK passes three weeks of lockdown, many people are in their homes and unable to go to work, the gym or meet up with their friends. One way to help make the most of this lockdown period for your business and employees is online training courses. TTF explains how the TTF Academy can help you and your staff to brush up on training, even at home.
What is the TTF Academy?
The TTF Academy offers online courses ranging from accredited timber and product CPD modules, to videos and bite-sized modules in essential skills.
Through short courses you and your team can learn about all aspects of the timber trade. Modules include responsible sourcing, timber cladding, and fire safety, giving your team the knowledge to boost your sales. The vast majority of our courses are completely free to access and complete.
Can furloughed employees complete this training?
Furloughed employees can continue to engage in training and are actively being encouraged to by the Government. This will not cause any issues for you provided it does not generate revenue for your business.
What training is on offer?
You and your employees can also work on your soft skills beyond the timber trade. Business-relevant topics include an introduction to GDPR, dealing with conflict, cyber security.
TTF Members can manage their learners through the system and track their progress. This will help get the whole team qualified.
How do I sign up?
All you need to do is complete the registration form on the TTF Academy online learning portal. If you manage a team and wish to set up company account for multiple registrations then please talk to Karen Sussex.
