WernerCo, manufacturer of ladders and access towers, announced its new membership of the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) at this year’s NMBS show, highlighting the brand’s commitment to strengthening ties with the merchant sector.
The move means WernerCo, which includes the Werner and Youngman brands, joins the Federation’s 480 fellow merchants and supplier members. Mike Law, Business Development Director, commented: “We’re delighted to officially announce our partnership with the BMF, a move that will allow us to work more closely with our partners and shows our commitment to supporting our merchant customers.”
The supply of high quality, practical displays and POS is said to be a key part of WernerCo’s support for its merchant partners, and the company took the opportunity at NMBS to speak to the attending audience about its latest promotion on its popular Tactical Display Units (TDU).
Mike added: “Quality merchant displays and POS is key to having a good presence within the branches. We like to work with merchants as much as we can to help boost sales by making our product displays as inviting as possible, whilst also being practical for the merchants.”
Since WernerCo acquired the Youngman Group in late 2014, the company has invested in a new website and marketing support for the brand, which continues to be a firm favourite with tradesmen. The company has also recently opened a state-of-the-art new national distribution centre in Burton-on-Trent, which also operates as a collection centre.
