Worshipful Company of Builders’ Merchants unveils new website

The Worshipful Company of Builders’ Merchants has launched a completely redesigned website, incorporating a host of new features for members as well as better representing the Company to the industry and the wider public.

As a modern Livery Company, WCoBM represents all parts of the industry and works to raise the profile of builders’ merchants in the City of London, highlighting their importance in supplying Britain’s building needs. Its members include leading figures within builders’ merchants, manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, buying groups, service suppliers and a number of ancillary trades.

On the revamped website, visitors can learn more about the history of the Company and the Livery movement as a whole, as well as details of the Company’s current Master, Court and Officers. The website also features details of the Company’s latest news and events, charity work, and the training grants and support the Company offers to individuals and companies within the builders’ merchant sector.

Liverymen and Freemen of the Company can also log in to their Member Profiles, where they will find contact details for all WCoBM Members, as well as more information about the Livery Company’s accounts and events programme.

Master Alan Hawkins said: “Our website is often the first opportunity that members of the builders’ merchant sector have to learn more about the Livery movement and our Company in particular. We are delighted with our new website, which reflects the work of a modern Livery Company, and we hope that people are able to use it to better understand the role of the WCoBM.”

The website and its contents were designed by Agency 53 and JKW PR & Marketing.
