Wolseley Group’s Plumb Centre has expanded its national footprint with the opening of a new branch in Basildon, Essex.
The launch forms part of the company’s ongoing investment in its branch network and digital infrastructure, aimed at enhancing service delivery for trade professionals across the country. The branch opening has brought four new jobs to the local area whilst the official launch event was attended by local tradespeople and suppliers, and featured live product demonstrations and supplier showcases from brands such as Grundfos and Ideal Heating in addition to a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by the Mayor of Basildon, Cllr Allan Davies.
Strategically located on Paycocke Way, the new site is designed to provide installers and heating engineers in the Southeast with rapid access to essential stock, expert advice, and flexible fulfilment options including same-day click and collect and next-day delivery. Installers can also benefit from PlumbPro, Plumb Centre’s trade loyalty programme, which offers rewards, exclusive promotions and tailored business support.

The new facility becomes the 14th Plumb Centre location in Essex, reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting the trade in key regional markets. It also complements recent refurbishments across existing branches and investments in Plumb Centre’s digital capabilities, including real-time stock visibility and enhanced online ordering.
