The leading independent timber importer and processor has premiered a dynamic fly-through drone video which offers a bird’s eye view of what it bills as “one of the most sophisticated plants in Europe.”
For the first time ever, Arbor Forest Products is inviting the world to take a virtual tour around its impressive 90-acre site in New Holland, North Lincolnshire. The firm asserts that “innovation doesn’t stop in the sawmill” and the latest commitment to its customers is a first-person view (FPV) drone video to showcase the size and scale of the site at New Holland.
Inviting customers for a behind the scenes look, the video covers all areas of the 90-acre site and offers a unique and interesting perspective into the industry as never seen before:
Home to over 80,000m3 of timber at any one time, the site at New Holland supplies over 300,000m3 of quality timber products to the distributor, merchant and industrial sectors each year. And for over 70 years, Arbor Forest says it has been “innovating and investing in the very best technology to provide the highest quality products for its customers.”
The unique video allows customers to get “up close and personal with the lifecycle of a piece of wood” with an exclusive look at the £4m state-of-the-art sawmill planing line, what is said to be the largest dock of its kind in the UK, Arbor Edge® MDF facilities, timber treatment tanks and the daily operations of its 90-acre site.
For a business that’s rooted in history, Arbor Forest reports that it is always looking to the future, and would invite those looking to explore the facilities further to get in touch and discover more about the full product range.
Operations Director Phil Yell said: “We’re very proud of our site here at Arbor, the team work hard to maintain high standards across each department and ensure operations are running as smooth as possible to enable us to provide the best service possible. At Arbor, we’re all about going the extra mile and quality is at the heart of everything we do.”
