The BMF is holding its fourth Branch Managers Forum on 22/23 November 2016 at the BMF’s head office in Coventry.
This follows the success of the previous events and demands from members. Some 173 branch managers have already attended and benefitted from this two-day event, which provides not just a full business programme, but the opportunity for managers to network with each other from across the UK sharing ideas and building relationships.
The event is packed full of seminars and masterclasses, all created to help branch managers run their business more efficiently, including a seminar by Gareth Bolam of Buttle plc, winner of Branch Manager of the Year in the Builders’ Awards for Excellence 2015. There will also be product masterclasses on lightside and heavyside.
Industry experts will cover a wide variety of subjects such as H&S, transport, security, employment issues and marketing – all focussed on builders’ merchants’ day to day business. Workshops are also included, giving delegates the opportunity to debate those issues important to them as well as a session on leadership and management.
The two-day event will culminate with special guest speaker Stewart Hill, retired Lieutenant Colonel and beneficiary of Walking with the Wounded. Stewart led the largest ever ground battle with the Taliban in Afghanistan. Eight hours after the battle, medics were struggling to save his life. He will share inspirational leadership lessons with the delegates.
Peter Hindle MBE, BMF Chairman will hold a Q & A session, then summarise and close the Forum.
