The new service from Paymentsense for all BMF members is designed to simplify the merchant’s card payment process as well as reducing overall costs. The service is already saving one early adopter around £350 a month on card transactions at a single site.
Paymentsense is a fintech company operating across the UK with offices in London, Hull and now Bristol set for March this year. Their smart proprietary technology platform enables small businesses to process payments online, in-store and over the phone.
It currently supplies card machines and e-commerce solutions to over 80,000 businesses in the UK and Ireland, handling annual sales worth over £10 billion.
Richard Ellithorne, BMF Membership Services Director, said: “Having looked at a number of providers we chose to partner with Paymentsense because its dedication to service excellence reflects the BMF’s mission to help our members build excellence within their businesses.”
Paymentsense joined the BMF last year. At the time, the Federation’s Chief Executive, John Newcomb said: “We are delighted that Paymentsense has joined and appreciates the value of being part of a strong trade body. We are looking forward to working with this growing company.”
Kathleen Snell, Partnership Development Manager at Paymentsense says: “The company is proud to support the Builders Merchants Federation and the valuable work it does for its members. We want to provide reliable card payment solutions that reduce costs and bring added convenience for its members who can then concentrate on their work to build excellence.”
