ForgeFix, the distributor of fixings, fastenings and associated products, has achieved ISO9001 accredited certification status.
The business was awarded its certification to the internationally-recognised quality standard on August 5th 2015, following a rigorous and far-reaching quality audit.
The audit was conducted across both of ForgeFix’s sites and by independent assessors, TÜV UK.
As part of the certification process, ForgeFix had to demonstrate robust quality management systems covering a range of areas, including staff competence and training, customer satisfaction and resource planning.
It also had to show clear evidence of regularly updated and continually tracked performance objectives.
In confirming ForgeFix’s certification, Colin Partington, lead auditor at TÜV UK, praised the company for its overall quality-focused approach.
In particular, he highlighted the calibre of the ForgeFix team, praising staff at the business for their attitude and high levels of professionalism.
Commenting, Colin said: “TÜV UK would like to congratulate ForgeFix on achieving its ISO9001:2008 certification. IS09001 remains one of the world’s most recognised quality standards, as well as being an important tool in helping organisations to improve efficiency, maintain quality levels and enhance customer satisfaction.”
Michael Brown, Managing Director at ForgeFix, added, “ForgeFix’s success in achieving ISO9001 certification is fantastic news and obviously the entire team is delighted.
“Maintaining the highest standards in areas such as product quality, service delivery and after-sales support have long been a natural part of ForgeFix’s culture.
“Achieving ISO9001 certification, however, provides independent and impartial verification of that important and beneficial part of our offer.”
