After a pandemic-enforced hiatus (the March 2020 event was one of the first industry gatherings to fall during the first lockdown), the Fortis Building & Timber Conference returned to the Celtic Manor in late April.
The intensive two-day networking event, involving almost 3,500 scheduled meetings between Fortis merchant members and suppliers, culminated in the presentation of the merchant group’s Annual Supplier Awards. Hosted by comedian and broadcaster (and Spider-Man’s father…!) Dominic Holland, the Awards rewarded the exceptional service received by merchant members across nine product category groups.
In addition, an award for Supplier Account Manager of the Year was presented whilst an overall Supplier of the Year was announced from the individual category winners.
